Associated Wholesalers Inc.
Based in Robesonia, Berks County, Associated Wholesalers Inc. is a retailer-owned cooperative serving members and customers that operate supermarkets and convenience stores throughout the eastern United States, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic. AWI provides grocery and perishable products, including its own Shurfine and White Rose brands, from its distribution centers in Robesonia, York and Carteret, N.J. AWI is one of the largest donors to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank.




Drayer Physical Therapy Institute
Begun in 2002 by Luke Drayer, Hummelstown, Dauphin County-based Drayer owns or manages approximately 40 centers in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, South Carolina and West Virginia. Drayer partners with the University of Delaware to conduct research.



U.S. Retail Flowers
Based in Lebanon, U.S. Retail Flowers is one of the largest florists in the United States. It owns Royer's Flowers & Gifts and Stephenson's Flowers & Gifts, which operate 19 flower shops in Berks, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties, and Connells Maple Lee Flowers & Gifts, which has three stores near Columbus, Ohio. The companies' annual "Bouquets for Books" has collected more than 6,600 children's books for public libraries in Pennsylvania and Ohio.




Rutter's
Descendants of Pennsylvania's founder, William Penn, deeded farmland to the Rutter family in 1747. Rutter's Dairy, which began in 1921, serves the mid-Atlantic region. Seeking an outlet for its dairy products, Rutter's in 1968 started a convenience-store business that today numbers more than 50 stores in York, Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin and Lancaster counties. Rutter's has donated more than $1.875 million to charitable causes since 2003.




St. Joseph Health Ministries
The nonprofit St. Joseph Health Ministries works to improve the health of children in need in Lancaster County. Through its "Brush. Brush. Smile!" program, the organization provides free dental care to economically disadvantaged children through each of the county's school districts.




The Phillips Group
Central Pennsylvania's leading independent office products company, Phillips provides office supplies, office furniture and document management products from offices in Middletown, Chambersburg, York, Lancaster, Reading and Hunt Valley, Md. Debuting during the 2003 holiday season, Putch & Buckie’s sells its biscotti, shortbread and other cookies year-round at Pronio's Market, 236 W. Caracas Ave., Hershey, and Cocoa Beanery, 1215 Research Blvd., Hummelstown.
