What We Do
We are content providers, whether it’s generating story ideas or news releases as part of a media relations strategy; copy for a newsletter, Web site or social media; or the conception and execution of a special event or promotion.
The various strategies and tactics that we employ have a common goal: to raise our clients' profiles in a positive manner. People and organizations that are well regarded are perceived as being more successful, more valuable. Our objective has remained constant through the years, even if the tools that we use continue to evolve.
This is why our approach combines old media and new, ensuring that our clients successfully communicate with their important audiences. Whatever the need, we're there for our clients whenever and wherever they need us.
We're especially good at generating positive news coverage for our clients. Earned media, as it is known, is obtained on the basis of being newsworthy. Positive coverage provides a third-party endorsement and, most important, credibility. That's the kind of value we provide to our clients.
When we have a great story idea, we pitch it. We're dogged. If it takes six months and three editors and three newspapers to pitch a story successfully (this really has happened to us), we'll keep after it.
We have worked with local, regional and national consumer and trade news media, on behalf of clients in a wide range of fields: tourism, economic development, construction, sports, floral, food, health, financial services. Our clients are for-profit and non-profit, retailers and service providers, wholesalers and distributors.
We also have carved a niche writing newsletters. While nothing beats the credibility of a news story, a newsletter is a great way for a business to communicate directly with its audiences, from employees to vendors to customers.
No matter the client, we strive to build long-term relationships with them. An important part of this is managing expectations. When it comes to media relations, we swing for the fences - and hit our share of home runs. But we also recognize the value of singles, doubles and triples - briefs, photos and other elements of a strategy to gain continual media exposure.
We're small but nimble, and we get the job done on time, with great results and at a reasonable cost.
